Our team executes research, evaluation, and survey projects to clients across 37 states spanning multiple industries. Vital has an immediate need for an organized and dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team on a temporary, 5-month project starting January 6, 2020This individual will work in our Mid-Wilshire office location and support our Aging & Disabilities team with a large-scale survey research project under the direct supervision of the Project Manager. This position involves communicating with and supporting field staff, supervising the scheduling of interviews with facilities, and the assignment of interviewers.   • Provide professional and superior customer service experience to interviewers and facility staff.
  • Communicate with and support up to 80 field staff: problem solve, reiterate protocol, and give direction over the phone.
  • Oversee Schedulers and the scheduling facilities process, including assignment of field staff.
  • Develop schedules of field Quality Assurance Mentors.
  • Prevent and solve field problems.
  • Use Microsoft Access to monitor and track project activities.
  • Comply with confidentiality, federal HIPAA regulations, and adhere to data security requirements.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in social science or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of coordination experience.
  • Must be available M-F, 5:15 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. (averaging 40 hours/week; as needed).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Access.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Ability to motivate and provide functional direction.
  • Ability to identify/solve problems and ask for assistance when needed.
  • Aptitude to multi-task, take direction, adhere to strict deadlines, and change direction in response to unpredictable work situations.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and comprehensive records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adhere to data security and privacy protocols.

 Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Research experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of health care terminology highly desired.

Salary: $23 / hour
